The main changes include:
    •    Electronic Voting
    •    Committee detail clean up
    •    Grammar and language usage clean up
    •    Terms of Officer changes and responsibility

Voting by the LSRC General Membership on the proposed Amended LSRC Bylaws will occur on January 09, 2015 at Prejean’s Restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana during the Annual Business Meeting.

Willis Knighton Medical Center >200 beds

Willis Knighton Medical Center has been awarded the 2014 Hospital of the Year for Respiratory Care with more than 200 beds by the Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care (LSRC).  Willis Knighton Medical Center has a highly qualified staff of 120 respiratory care practitioners, 77%registered and 23%certified, who are an integral part of the hospital’s clinical care team.  The respiratory care practitioners at Willis Knighton Medical Center, in collaboration with medical staff, utilize therapist driven protocols to assess, treat and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
